Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 1.31% at Thursday's close

ANKARA

Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,452.67 points on Thursday, up 1.31% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,430.88 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 18.82 points from Wednesday's close of 1,433.85 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,797.30 by market close, down from $1,798 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $72.57 per barrel with a 0.04% loss as of 6.33 p.m. local time (1533GMT).
